Irish police concerned about ‘far-right’ response as search underway for ‘asylum seeker’ accused of beating his American girlfriend to death in her Kerry home

After a US citizen was suspected to have been killed by a Middle Eastern asylum seeker in Ireland, police became concerned the killing may be taken up by “US far right and political figures intent on stirring racial tensions in the Republic”.
